Who we are

Resaga is operated by Luke Caporelli (hallo@resaga.cc). The product is a web tool that turns one bike ride into shareable visual artifacts. It is offered as a sub-brand of gravelwerk.de.

What data we collect

From your ride source (Strava OAuth or GPX upload)

Your activity name, date, distance, moving time, total climbing, and the GPS track of the ride
Optional streams: heart rate, power
Your Strava athlete identifier (used as your account key)

Derived from your ride

Start and end city (Mapbox reverse geocoding)
Daily temperature range for the ride date and route center (Open-Meteo Historical Weather)
Number of villages passed and longest gap without civilization (OpenStreetMap / Overpass)

If you give us your email

Your email address, stored to unlock unbranded downloads on subsequent rides
We add it to our newsletter list (Kit / ConvertKit), tagged so we can send you bikepacking gear notes a couple of times a month. Unsubscribe anytime.

If you pay for an unbranded poster (€4)

Stripe processes the payment. We store only the Stripe checkout session id linking your purchase to the specific ride. We never see your card details.

Product analytics

We use PostHog (EU region) to track which features get used — signups, ride imports, output downloads, email submissions, and payments. Events are linked to your Strava athlete identifier, not your name or email.

Why we collect it

Strictly to make the product work and to understand which features are used. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. Affiliate links to gravelwerk.de gear notes are static and do not track you back to us.

Where it lives

Ride data, email captures, and payment state are stored in Supabase (Postgres, region eu-central-1, Frankfurt).
Email sending is handled by Resend.
Newsletter list lives in Kit / ConvertKit.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
Product analytics events are sent to PostHog (EU region).

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to export it, and to ask us to delete it. You can also revoke Resaga's access to your Strava account at any time at strava.com/settings/apps; once revoked, we delete the data we hold for that account. For all other requests, email hallo@resaga.cc and we'll respond within 30 days, or sooner where required by applicable law.

Cookies

We set the session cookies required to keep you signed in (Auth.js). We do not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. PostHog analytics use a first-party identifier scoped to this site.
